ARIS KPI Adjustors (KPIAs)

Restructure your hotel data retroactively by renaming, splitting, or merging the values behind your ARIS KPIs.

KPI Adjustors (KPIAs) let you change the way your data is structured, retroactively, so your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reflect exactly the categories you want in the Automated Revenue Intelligence System (ARIS).

In-app location: Settings → Hotel → ARIS → KPI Adjustor

What you can do

  • Create, edit, and delete KPI Adjustments.

  • Choose from three adjustment types: Rename, Split, and Merge.

  • Apply each adjustment to a specific data source and source key from your Property Management System (PMS).

  • Set a start and end date for when the adjustment applies, or leave either end unbound.

What you'll see

  • A sortable, resizable table of your adjustments with columns for Name, Type, Source, Source Key, Source Values, Target Values, Starts at, Ends at, and Created at.

  • Edit and delete actions on each row.

  • For Split adjustments, each target value shows its percentage share.

How to create a KPI Adjustment

  1. Select Create KPI Adjustment.

  2. Enter a Name.

  3. Choose a Source, then a Source Key (Name or Short Name).

  4. Pick an Adjustment Type:

    • Rename: enter the Source Value to change and the Target Value to rename it to.

    • Split: enter the Source Value, then add one or more Target Values to split it into.

    • Merge: add the Source Values to combine, then enter the Target Value they merge into.

  5. Set the time range: check Unbound start and/or Unbound end for no limit, or uncheck them to pick a Start date and End date. The end date can't be before the start date.

  6. Select Create.

How to edit or delete a KPI Adjustment

  1. Find the adjustment in the table.

  2. Select the pencil icon to edit it, make your changes, and save.

  3. Select the trash icon to delete it.

Good to know

  • Available sources come from your connected PMS data types, so connect your PMS first.

  • For Split adjustments, the split is distributed equally across the target values by default.
